Shanti: I visited Ramesh Balesekar recently and although I enjoyed the satsang and found Ramesh a decent person I left feeling that his ‘I am not the doer' teaching is just not enough. What is you opinion about it?

The Sanskrit word for "truth" is satyam and this is also the word for reality. The only reality is brahman, that which makes known what is known.
Ignorance is ignoring (literally "turning away from") this truth through identifying ourselves with a body, mind, belief, cause or whatever...

"Brahman is the pure limitless Self without any Maya. It is pure non-dual Awareness. For creation to occur there needs to be duality. This is where Maya comes in. Maya is a power in the Self...which incidentally doesn't have any powers!.
