Francis Lucille: Many Other Levels?
Posted: 12/07/09 04:00 PM

francis lucille videoLast night, I once again watched the interview of Francis Lucille on Conscious.tv with our friend, Ian McNay. It is a most unusual interview in that it becomes quite awkward simply due to it's power, which lies beyond words. Watch Francis Lucille and Ian McNay attempt to "meet in the moment".

Neo Advaita and the Satsang Movement
Posted: 12/06/09 11:37 PM

neo advaitaWhat is Neo Advaita and how does it diverge from traditional Self Inquiry and tradition?

How did it evolve into it's modern day interpretation?

Is it an effective teaching approach?

Encouraging no teacher, no path, no seeker and certainly no ignorance or knowledge, Neo Advaita takes negation to an extreme. Perhaps, to the Self, there is nothing to do, but what should someone who has not realized the Self do in the meantime? Join us as we take a short tour of the rise of neo Advaita and it's impact on the search for Truth by James Swartz, a former student of Chimayananda. We think you will agree the logic is both amusing and worthy of consideration. Read Neo Advaita and the Satsang Movement by James Swartz

Can a Perception Perceive?
Posted: 12/06/09 07:21 PM

consciousness and the universeRegarding the body: Can a perception perceive?

Can a perception exist inside another perception? Can a perception act as a channel of communication of sensory perceptions?

Frequently we discuss how all sensory perceptions, bodily sensations and thoughts, including the spontaneous current thought of memory and what we call feelings ( bodily sensations with a "me" attached), are all perceived by impersonal awareness.

But, what about this perception we call the body?

Is it not merely a part of the witnessed landscape called the world?

And, if so, can a perception actually perceive?

If not, where does perception occur?

What do we mean when we say all perception occurs at "zero distance" in this "placeless place" called awareness?

The questions are discussed today in a new meditation by Rupert Spira entitled Utterly One. Click here to read Utterly One by Rupert Spira explaining the singular nature of creation, not ready made, but being born spontaneously moment to moment.

William Samuel: American JnaniI first heard about William Samuel from my teacher, Francis Lucille. He had visited with Samuel and, at one of his retreats, a a rare copy of a live video of Samuels was available. It was impressive.

The Story of William Samuel is unique in the history of American teachers of non duality.

Peace that does not Fade AwayPeace that does not Fade Away

Some report that "Peace Slips Away" after attending satsang or retreat. What is the nature of this "back and forth" that is commonly experienced by Truth Lovers? What causes the "separate self" to arise and apparently steal away the sense of tranquility?

Click here to read a dialogue with Rupert Spira discussing "resistance to what is." and The Peace which never fades.
