As a child, Chris never felt 'comfortable in his own skin', and thus sought solace in financial wealth and material possessions; nevertheless, the aching for inner completion still remained. After a series of catastrophic personal events, Chris underwent a 'dark night of the soul' experience, and his former lifestyle quite literally collapsed.

Subsequent meetings with Eckhart Tolle and then Francis Lucille helped him to make sense of what was happening to him as well as understand, more importantly, who he really was.
