Ellen Emmet: The Body of Presence

We hear from people all the time who are frustrated with the "intellectual" understanding of advaita. They crave an understanding which transcends words. Further, they may have heard that,"There is nothing to do.", a true statement if you are not a human being, but, an unhelpful piece of advice for those who still apparently identify with their bodies and minds.
To those in the later category, we submit there is something to do: it is to exactly investigate whether they are, in fact, the body/mind.
One area of investigation that evades the inspection of most satsangs in what we refer to as "the ignorance of the body". This investigation is an inspection, in the here and now, of the reality of our experience of the body. To some, this might be called a Yoga, but, actually, this is the practice of exploring sensations and the "space" that surrounds them. It is a vital part of any complete self inquiry.
Try to follow along with the experiential instructions. We hope you enjoy this introduction.
