Having recently returned from filming at the Science and Non-Duality Conference, one thing became very clear, we owe a great debt of gratitude to our teachers, who endlessly and patiently share and teach us. Particularly clear was the depth and clarity of one teacher, Francis Lucille, who endlessly and patiently points toward the One Truth.

Today, we have some never before seen raw footage shot at one of his intimate gatherings in Temecula, California, open to all, yet a well kept secret of teachers and students alike.

Many of you are probably familiar with the Gateless Gate DVD, the single most popular video of Francis. In this DVD,  he unfolds with great exactness the "Hot Seat" of resistance and desire, the  collapse of the separate sense of Self, the surrender to what is and the final passage thru the "Gateless Gate."

The new clip is an intimate review born of the awareness that, if we are ever going to live the Ultimate Truth, Love, Beauty and Peace we eternally seek, it can only be located--here, now. It is exactly the desire to change what is that hides that which is so intimately already ours.

This fundamental awakening allows us to face and ,in fact, welcome those arisings we have previously resisted. Each fear and desire, our frustrations, angers and depressions, our " negative feelings" become an opportunity for us to enter the "Kingdom of God".

In this new dialogue, Francis expands upon the final process of release into existential fear. the price paid for true Self Realization, surrendering one's life, imagined by most as something to avoid, but, in essence, something very sweet.

Having carefully watched the videos, it becomes very evident that, for many, the magic that may be missing is what we call "the presence of the teacher." This writer can not emphasis to serious students enough the value  of spending consistent face time in the presence of the teacher.

It has been said that 10% of what is communicated, is received from words, 40% through body language. The balance of the message is in the transmission, the unspoken silence in which the speaking occurs. Proximity to the teacher is the great secret to Self Realization.

Having said this, there is only one more chance this year to visit directly with Francis Lucille in retreat.
