Swami Abhishiktananda: On Pilgrimage

Henri le Saux, better known as Swami Abhishiktananda (1910-1973), was a French Benedictine monk, whose religious experience in India led him to become a human bridge between Christian and Hindu spirituality, in particular the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta.

In this short documentary, Swami Abhishiktananda's spiritual companion, Raimon Panikkar, theologian and interfaith pandit, talks about their friendship and the pilgrimages they performed together, culminating in a profound meeting with the great sage, Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, which impelled Swami Abhishiktananda into a 'radical monastic experience'.
