Founded by Miriam Louisa Simons and inspired by the work of Frederick Franck - painter, sculptor and who wrote over 30 books on Buddhism - The Awakened Eye is testament to the way in which the visual and literary arts can manifest the beauty and wisdom of the great mystical teachings. The site is beautifully designed, with clean, minimalist layout and formatting, making it one of the most exquisite sites on the theme of nonduality on the web.
