An Open Apology to Our Subscribers: Pointers or Intellectual "stuff"?

wei wu weiI adore the writings of Wei Wu Wei, also known as Terence James Stannus Gray, an English actor who lived in Monaco and was friendly with both my teacher, Francis Lucille, and my teacher's teacher, Jean Klein. His prose and exposition is razor sharp; such clarity was exceptionally important here to "seperate the forest from the trees" so that reality could shine.

While reading a beautiful collection of his writings, entitled Postnumous Pieces, I came across this introduction, which mirrors my deep felt sentiments to our subscirbers who might take these postings as something other than they are: mere pointers to that which, by their very definition, can never be expressed.

I post here only because these pointers helped evaporate "the mist of ignorance" which hung, like wet fog, camoflaging the depth of beauty of that to which they pointed: assumptions parading about as facts.

Hiding what?

" When all relativities are seen as nonexistent noght remains to be apperceived".

"Objective existence is mythical. Non-objective existence is absolute."

Wei Wu Wei

Here is exactly what Wei Wu Wrote by way of introduction to his work:

"Apologies are offered for the all too evident inadequacy of the relative expression represented by these words.

Interpretations of the ever present understanding, universally available, with what appears as patience, consistence, and pertinacity, is attributable to what is known as wei wu wei, which is a Toaist symbol implying functioning which is non-volitional, spontaneous, ineluctable, and, as such, totally impersonal.

But, it's expression in the language of relativity thereby becomes personal, and the relative responsibilty must fall entirely on whatever phenomenenal 'editor' may have been obliged to undertake it."

My heartfelt apologies for the "intellectual stuff". It was never, for a moment, mistaken here for that to which it points. Please forgive me if that is how you experience them.
