“… to know yourself in silence … beyond the mind …” ~ Billy Doyle
It’s been a week dominated by several impediments to publishing our regular weekly Wednesday post – mostly stemming from my ongoing health issues – resulting in “no post” 🙁 … at least so far!
Had several posts in the works but none close to completion … and …
As part of acknowledging the inevitability of not making the Wednesday deadline … the above opening stanza, from Billy Doyle’s poetry had came to the fore … which concludes with:
living in unknown territory
each moment fresh, new
no words to define it
living in wonderment
Needless to say … this exquisitely captured my own “sense & experience” … and “reaffirmed” the easeful acceptance, without much, if any, “resistance” 🙂
Am always deeply touched and awed by such “timely reminders” 🙂 … and drawn to share them along 🙂 …
So, here’s the entirety of Billy’s poem … as a precursor to the deeper exploration (via our usual substantive preview) of it’s source, The Mirage of Separation …
As always, am delighted by – and grateful for – such synchronicities …
So … pause …. read … pause … read … then pause again and … see what is revealed !
to know yourself in silence
beyond the mind
without parameter
free of all association
all longing quenched
in the knowing who I am
the last rites have been read
the story book closed
living in unknown territory
each moment fresh, new
no words to define it
living in wonderment
Stay tuned for more … from Billy’s book …
