acceptance stillness: “… You must accept it as a fact that your fundamental nature is stillness. It is in this stillness that all activities appear … Discover yourself in stillness …” ~ Jean Klein

Aging is certainly an adventure 🙂 … brings unexpected health challenges with ongoing impacts on the daily living … but it also naturally invites a deepening … of acceptance … of embracing what is, or pause, or stillness …

That’s certainly been the case this  week : recognizing the gift of pausing certain activities such as publishing … simply embracing what is … and appreciating the gift of stillness …

… consequently …… this week our usual weekly post is being deferred to next week …

… instead we offer some very brief words from Jean Klein … that serve as gentle – and profound – reminders of why stillness ?

UPDATE Jun 11, 2025: Due to health reasons, we will be pausing all content publishing (Posts + bi-monthly newsletters) … and will RESUME sometime in August … Will post future UPDATEs on the website (here or a separate post) plus via special newsletter … Thank You for your understanding and patience.

Why Stillness?

Discover yourself more and more in the space where there is a complete absence of yourself. That is real stillness. Inquiring brings you to the moment when you see really, live really, what you have been and what you will be, eternally.

Stillness is not a function. You must awaken in this unfurnished stillness. Discover yourself in stillness, explore the body’s stillness. The more you feel the stillness in your body, the more you will feel it also in your mind.

Your functional nature is stillness; you can only see when you are not still. Don’t try to be good, don’t try to be wise; your real nature is wise, your real nature is good.

~~ Jean Klein
