Have you ever tasted Stillness?
Have you ever drank in Stillness?
Taken a bath in Stillness?
Fallen asleep in Stillness?
Dreamed in Stillness?
Died in Stillness?
What is Stillness made of?
What is its size?
What is its shape? It’s color? It’s location?
What sound does Stillness make?
What word contains Stillness?
Can Stillness be contained?
Does it go anywhere even when there’s noise?
I must be still to find out!
What is looking for stillness is movement itself…
Is a thought not a movement?
But how can what moves know that which has never moved??
How can movement know stillness?
Stillness is non-movement.
If it moves, it’s not Stillness
Since a thought moves, it’s not Stillness.
The absence of a thought IS stillness.

Ahhh even an exhale disturbs stillness. So stillness must be experienced like morsals of cake… A nibble at a time.
Morsels (or gradual) is good 🙂 … OR maybe just sink into the ever present stillness that is here – always! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by HW coop.
Is the sky disturbed by a cloud? Is stillness disturbed by that which moves in it? Is being ever disturbed by experiences? Stillness is the constant, unditurbed I we all are.
Indeed, Joel … Stillness is ever present – whether we are here or not 🙂 …
Thanks for stopping by.
