Stillness Speaks is an ever evolving, non profit (501 C 3), endeavor … and aside from the ongoing funds required to maintain a “web presence,” we have other original content projects (both ongoing and 1-time), that require significant investments … below are some current projects … which you can help us fund with your year-end giving:
Ongoing – NEW Original Video Production: Chris’ feature length conversations with teachers like Henry Shukman & Shinzen Young (both videos done & under distribution) … Kaz Tanahashi (filmed & awaiting edits)… others in the pipeline (e.g., Richard Rohr) … each video costs around $3K – 4K …
Upcoming – “Finalization” of the Zen documentary film : includes “rough cut” editing, sound track, preparations for multi-continent distribution, and more … which is estimated at approx. $20K … we have already spent around $100K on multi location filmings in Japan, USA, Canada, Europe – with film crew & “subjects (i.e., Zen teachers, students)”
Donors with gifts of $150 or more will be listed, as “Benefactor-Producers,” in the future video credits (if they so desire).
